Has anyone else had problems with getting Nectar points from Amazon.co.uk.
I made a purchase in July and waited the 28 days and no points. I e-mailed Amazon customer service and the reply, obviously from outside UK, stated that to get Nectar points you must click through the nectar site. I replied stating that I DID click through the Nectar site. I got a reply stating that to get Nectar points you must click through the Nectar site :wall:
I made another purchase in August making sure I did use the click through, although I know I did the first time, and the 28 days are up tomorrow. Guess what, no points yet. Another purchase was made last week so I am waiting with baited breath !!
That has been £200 spent = 400 points. not a lot I know but it is the principle. There must also be a trading standards issue here re false advertising / misrepresentation as given 2 sites with the same price and service level but one is giving away a little extra which one would I choose.

The FAQ's on Nectar's eStores website says you should contact Nectar directly if you haven't had points from an online partner.
Although from my own personal experience this is more trouble than it's worth, I was once on the phone to their 0870 number for 25 minutes arguing about 100 points which were worth less than the cost of the phonecall.
EDIT: I've just found a way of calling Nectar for free if you go via the BP careline on 0800 402 402 and then press Option 1 (thanks to https://www.saynoto0870.com).0 -
I spoke to a chap from the Nectar Newcastle call centre today who is hopefully going to sort it out for me0

Did you use a pricechecker site or click on an Amazon link from another site before you went through Nectar ?
If so it would have put one of there cookies on your PC and they would have got the comission instead of Nectar, clear you cookies before going through a points/cachback site to be on the safeside0
