what do i do
should i send it back?
have they done it in error....i thought i read somewhere that everything electrical has to come with a three pronged plug fitted....is this correct?

did u get it from an international site ?u've got the more international plug. with my international plugs i just cut it off and put the 3 pin plug on it instead up to you what to do with it though i do that with things i have bought from pixmania and thailand0

Depending on who you bought it off I'd demand a UK lead or at least a UK convertor. Even when I bought from pixmania they still supplied me with a convertor."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

thanks guys
it was bought of ebuyer
so assuming i should demand new lead or adapter?0 -
Hi adr0ck
If you cut off the plug then you'll probably invalidate the warranty.
If the plug has two round pins, then you can probably use a shaver adapter, something like this:-

A slightly more modern version :rotfl: here at Maplin for £1.99:

update
now i know why people say stay away from ebuyer
i should have listened!!!!!!!!
still waiting for lead...so phoned ebuyer up (this is after promising me last week it would take a maximum of 2 days)
"o person that deals with this type of thing is on holiday...not sure who's dealing in absence"
"what should i do then"
"i don't know"
"can i send it back and ask for a replacement"
"yes thats what i would do"
so anyway crux of it is that i've had to ask for a RMA number...which may or may not be approved......which may cost me more money!!!!!!!0 -
Put your foot down.. ask them to find someone to deal with it now.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
