14 month old Panasonic Microwave NNGD - 566M Broken - Can I get it replaced ??

Hi there its my first time posting on here. It seems like an excellent site - I mean people being willing to help one another ...I believe we ought to always try to do that if we can. Anyway to the matter in hand. Our microwave, a Panasonic NNGD - 566M which we purchased in may 2009 has just decided to not perform it's tasks any longer. It happened all of a sudden and......... well it is disappointing to think that it has only lasted this long. It was a medium price range purchase. I just wondered if people feel I would have a leg to stand on, if I went back to Tesco where we purchased it? Or if we should approach Panasonic.?? Any thoughts on this matter would be very much appreciated. Aine. S.

First port of call should usually be the retailer then if you dont have any luck, try the manufacturer - although sometimes you get further with the manufacturer than you do the retailer!
I imagine its out of warranty? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
