Changing from door handle to door knobs

Hi Folks,
All the doors in our house have door handles similar to this one from B&Q:

I hate them and my husband hates them. They catch on your clothes and I still have a scar where one of them took a chunk of skin off me (it was a very annoying decorated one).
How hard is it to change to door knobs? Say to this:

but screw holes will need filled and part of door under the square handle will need painted/rubbed down

It's very easy because you're only changing the outside bits - you don't have to change the mechanism in the door.

As justjohn says, you'll have to do a bit of patching.

When changing from handles to knobs, you might find that you catch your fingers on the door casing when opening the door.You might need longer door latch's 64mm to 76mm.

You also need to check that the spindles are identical - they aren't all a standard size (as I've unfortunately found)

Wahoo! that is excellent news! Thank you all. I have to buy 3-4 door knob sets for a renovation project, but will buy in bulk and redo our house as well.
