Hotpoint Aquarius condenser tumble drier

This is kind of an electrical appliance question, but I need to know whether it’s worth calling out a repairman or getting rid of my tumble drier:
I have a Hotpoint Aquarius (TDC32) condenser tumble drier that has recently stopped collecting water in the water container (but it still dries clothes).
I’ve tried cleaning all parts of the machine I can, including the float chamber at the back, and there seems to be no fluff or gunge anywhere. The manual doesn’t offer any help at all, so can anyone suggest what may be wrong, and whether it’s worth repairing?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks…

Hi there - many thanks for the reply.
I don't think there's any water leaking out of the back, but I haven't used it for months. I'll try it again within the next few days and have a look.
Is water leaking out of your machine?
Cheers,

It was but iv fixed it now if water is running out the back of your machine the back panel needs to be resiliconed to the water collector at the back where it deposits just before filling the water tank with the float in. Hope this helps0
