Tesco Value Car Insurance

Hi,

Does anyone know if Tesco Value Car Insurance (Fully Comp) gives you no claims discount?

Wouldn't recommend using them, they are no where near as cheap as most

Terribly expensive compared to all my other quotes, I was thinking value = cheap, Not in this case.

Check to see if your car has an online club, Join the forum and see who they deal with for insurance.

Mondeo club have a good company. Proper brokers who ask real questions and dont have to say yes or no
to them. They take each case on its own merit. But not competitive in some uk locations.

Advertise they can usually beat your best quote by 10 or 15%. Silly me i got my lowest quote from another
company after phoning them, But they were still cheaper.

Couldn't agree more.

I got a quote from Tesco Insurance for my Mondeo V6 last year, was given way over £500 for the year fully comp, with NO breakdown cover.
I input a excess of £300.

I went on another 5-10 websites, and all of them beat Tesco, the least one was by £140!!

My insurance was £400 for this year, fully comp, full EU breakdown cover, protected no claims, 40000 miles, legal cover, and I will get a cover car within 2 hours of any accident I hope I will not have.
I only have an £50 excess too

Tesco car insurance is actually quite good, but horrendously expensive. It was 250 pounds cheaper to insure my car with Hastings than it was with them. Their value car insurance is definitely not good value.

Ewwww hastings, I would have paid the extra & gone with tesco...

I wouldn't go with a super market insurance brand anyway, I'd rather pay a few ££ more and use a well known and recommended insurer, after all would you let just 'anyone' insure your car?
