Trying out new phones

A mate of mine orders phones, tries them out for a week then sends them back under the 7 day DSA period. I'm guessing this is perfectly legal but won't phone companies get to the point where they say enough is enough and not accept any further orders from him?

They could. Also if he's ordering them under DSR then they can stiff him for return costs - providing he has been informed of this prior to conclusion of the contract.

I dont know the inner workings of companies but i imagine this might fall under the job of loss adjustors?

I did not know it was possible. when my new phone came out it came with the letter informing me of my rights to cancel as it was DSR but the phone should come back in a unused state. It clearly stated not to place sim into it as that would deem the phone used.

So how does he do it:)??

True, I thought your credit file became adversely affected after 4 or more credit checks in a year. Maybe he's just getting them PAYG/sim free.
