Two months after starting flylady I have decluttered all the major zones in my house :T :j
Will probably have to do it again when I become more ruthless but for now its onto cleaning
noone mention conservatories or lofts :eek:Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0 -

Hello all. I would like to join this challenge please. I definitely have chaos (cant have anyone over syndrome).
Today my only intention is to shine my sink before I go to bed. Anything else will be a bonus. I'll write up my plans for tomorrow and be sure to check in then.
Good luck everyone!Auguast GC: £2000 -
My eldest boy is in nursery today so I have been 'flying' with a vengence this morning. I have done:
Weekly house blessing
Laundry loads x2
Carted loads of gear up into loft after our walking holiday
Sorted out old maternity clothes to sell on ebay - definately no plans to have a third baby
A major decluttering is still needed but I'm taking time out to have a coffee and catch up with all your doings while my 6 month old sleeps. This site is definately addictive.0 -
Hello to all the newbies!
TNG - if you are aiming for crispy you ned to cook your duck on a rack with a dish underneath to catch the fat, you will have to empty it after half an hour. I always get mine out of its packing the day I buy it and leave it in the fridge uncovered for at least 24 hours - guided by Delia. makes a big difference and is a lot less effort then the whole hairdryer thing.
anyway when i did the big clean a few months ago i packed my hairdryer somewhere and have not found it again yet.....:o'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

good point! definately make sure the whole o fthe roasting tin is covered in fil as well. Cleaning the hard burnt duck fat off the roasting tin, is up there with the worst jobs going and it takes aaaaaages:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I have visited Chinatown and purchased myself a proper bamboo steamy thing :j , some pancakes and some Hoi Sin Sauce (thanks for the tip lynz. Went for Lee Kum Kee brand in the endI'll let you know)
All I need to do now is to remember to pick up some spring onions on my way home and we're off (got cucumber)
hex2 - ta for the info. It has been sat in the fridge with it's rub on overnight and all day today, so i think it's good to go
