make drop scones on birthday griddle (llechwen, for the Welsh speakers) - done
watch small penguins demolish drop scones, and eat last 2 with fresh coffee - done
read birthday books
collect freecycle toaster
pub lunch
walk in the woods
light supper and birthday cake - cooked and decorated by small penguins
theatre to see John Hegley, wearing birthday brooch
drink birthday beer (in intersting stone bottle) with DH

Hi, still in the bathroom, make a note of what you need to stock up on (tootpaste, shampoo, etc).

As Flylady so rightly says

"Nothing says "I Love You" like plenty of toilet paper!"

god flyladys struggling to think about what to fly on is she, write a list of whats needed in the bathroom- bit lame really, thats a job that wshould be done at the sme time as the shopping list, not seperately, what a waste of time.

red stripe in your corner shop? you jammy people. I have to make a special trip to Makro and buy it by the case. Virtually impossible to get out without buying other stuff as it is my husbands card and he has to come with me and look at the tools. Do get to have 48 cans in the cupboard though :beer:

I have had a vague tidy and put the washing machine on, done the supermarket run and the butchers. Just put a double rib of beef in the oven for tea. OH has had a grotty few days at work so it is a suprise tea for him. (Hope he is not reading this....)

Both boys are asleep - rare occurence now ds1 is 3 so I really should be using the time to clean a bit more but just .... struggling ... to .....tear .... myself ...away

Have to agree with Lyn - that is something that I do every Sunday when I'm writing out my grocery list.

Saturday - what Denise will do today:::

Laundry - two loads around to MILs clotheline;
Clean up kitchen bench;
Load DW;
Empty DW;
Change my bed;
General tidy up that I didn't do yesterday.

Tomorrow we are having a BBQ - and you're all invited
So today I also have to:
Decide what we're cooking and go to supermarket;
Look for extra plates, cutlery, etc, chairs etc still stored in garage;
Put said extra plates, cutlery, etc, through DW.

Also possibly catch up with niece again (she is staying with my sister, but my sister is working till 3pm) maybe go up town or to the market. I promise not to spend!

Happy Birthday Penelope Penguin.... sorry its late..... on course this morning and mum round this afternoon.... she's just left.... my kids have worn her out with insisting she play every board game ever invented with her (including twister!!!!!).
