As for the ironing thing - probably between 5 and 10 minutes per shirt. That includes sleeve creases :o

I think I need to take a bit less care......

I'll come do your stairs.. IF.. I can bring a basket of ironing and you do that??

    Deal??

Well I can do it in a minute but I is superfly when it comes to the shirts;)
Arm yourself with a can of spray starch! you will never look back.

COntinuing - and veering down the slip road to OffTopicCity.......

    Best Spray Starch :D ?

We've got some, but it turns the bottom of the iron brown, which then deposits on to the white shirt. It's not a very good look......

I'm now really pleased with myself

    Bed changed
washing nearly up to date...will be by tomorrow night
    spare bed made up
bathroom , cloakroom and ensuite cleaned
stairs vacuumed as also rest of house
    kitchen floor mopped
tea cooked, eaten and washed up /....just drying up to do and sink to shine
work sent into school for tomorrow

really feel I have achieved something today and cheeky OH had the cheek to ask when he got in 'what have you been doing today'
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
