    I saw denises stuff there and I do always forget D that you are in NZ. Im like shes done all that already I havnet even finished my first :coffee: yet :confused: Mind you it is early!

    do F&F list for solicitor just in case :)
    create masterpiece for dinner

    Hope every one has happy flying today :D

    Hugs to all in need of em :)

    Pixxy- I have felt the same way about OHs nad "telling him to do jobs" Its so exasperating. THe only thng I can do is "alter my emotional approach" to use a w**k phrase

    1) instead of being pi55ed off- be pleased. At least your OH will do things when TOLD, plenty of OHs would tell you to f off or give you a gobfull of abuse or ignore, so be chuffed with yourself that you have picked a man who is MAN enough to accept direction from his beloved

    2) You are not a wife, you are a household manager. this involves delegation. All staff at some time can become disillusioned. Maybe have a one to one and identify some "training needs" and develop those ;)

    3) finally remember, if a jobs worth doing , its worth doing yourself. :rotfl:

    Imagine what my house is like- Im a control freak I admit it!!!
    :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
    Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
    So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:

    LYNZ happy jobhunting!! :dance:

    i know what you mean with your approach (:D) but still
    if let's say cleaning was my 'proper' job (you know what i mean) he would not make a mess straight away and refuse doing things and actually come up with ideas to make it easier.
    but because i am 'home anyways' let's just take it for granted :cool:

    oooooops! here i go again :D

    it's just finally i am starting to get 'houseproud' and i actually want to have a tidy and clean (!) house - too much to ask :confused:

    [sigh] oh well, guess i have to attack it as you suggest - i DO like your approach ;)
    i just have to actually get him to do things (which he agrees to) right(ish) away and not 2 days later :eek:

    ok, back to flying!

    - put some clothes away (dd's will follow, she's asleep atm)
    - played lots with both kids
    - started thinking about what else to do today (no plan so far :think:)

    PONDSAVER glad you are feeling better! good on you to have taken it easy yesterday :)

  • Morning Gang,

    Hope everyone well.
    Starting to feel like i am flagging now so need to give it renewed effort today. After being out yesterday for most of the day downstairs looks like a tip. Have someone from preschool coming round to play today as well.(Half term here) As its the first time i would like the place to be half decent so:

    Today,
    Get showered and dressedDone
    Make bedsDone
    Tidy sitting room
    Tackle paper mountain
    Hoover
    Dust
    Put out ashes
    Lay new fire
    Water plants
    S/S downstairs loo
    Tidy KitchenDone
    brush and mop kitchen floor
    Menu plan
    Online shop
    Laundry catch up
    Strain and freeze chicken stock made yesterdayDone
    Sort something for lunch and dinner:confused:

    Think i need some jet powered wings today, only got until 1pm:rolleyes:
    Feel exhausted already.:o
    Hoping the fact that i have written it all down rather than it all spinning around in my head will stop me flapping unnecessarily

    BoL to all in their efforts

    I'm still here . . .

    Sorry to be so confusing to everyone - we don't have a site like this in NZ although I've sent a few suggestions a few peoples way!!! So if you don't mind . . . you're stuck with me :o

    Still to do tonight . . .
    At least one load of laundry - washing now
    Sweep floors - kitchen and entry - done
    Change two beds - left till the morning
    Watch some quality TV - if I can find any LOL - couldn't find any!

    Tomorrow:
    Empty DW;
    Sort dinner;
    Strip two beds and remake;
    Two more loads of laundry and round to MILs to hang on her clothesline;
    Smarten up outside entry;
    Water plants inside and out;
    Get haircut!;
    Go to The Christmas Shoppe to buy a NZ-type ornament to send overseas;
    Write Christmas cards to send overseas;
    Get laundry in (I can't wait till we get our own clothesline!);
    Do dinner;
    Feet up!

    This time I'm really off to bed.

    Denise... DS number 1 is distraught ! All Blacks v England on Sunday in Twickenham (or Monday your time)... and Dan Carter has been dropped from the team !!!
    I think he has been benched !!! What's goin on? Any inside info to console DS would be gratefully received.... Dan Carter isn't even injured.... he's benched !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an outrage ! (DS words, not mine).

    Rant over.... have a great day everyone! I gotta go to work..

    Lynz.... "gumtree?" do you have a kuckaburra? (sp) xxxxxx

    The vacuum needs it belt replacing or at least thats what I think is wrong with it need to find belt then put in infront of OH's nose and kick him up the butt!!

    I have started the Rosemary conely class as I also need a kick up the but to loose my baby weight and dd is now 20 months need to loose about 2.5 stone.

    Denise - I love to read what you've done by the time I get up - its kinda inspiring:)
