OMG!!! what is that????
I have a pot that was one of my first attempts at growing anything. The name thingy blew away months ago and I have been keeping an eye on it so I can work out what is in there.
I checked on it today and moved the leaves around and noticed some black coloured clovers in there and as I went to touch them these tiny white specks started popping up in a way I can only liken to the way popcorn pops and bursts!
Now, I know I have spent a lot of time in the sun recently but I don't think I've quite lost my mind......yet! I am certain I could even hear it too!
Ok, does anyone have a clue as to what on earth it could be? The pot has been moved right away until I can figure what is going on in there

There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

A picture speaks a thousand words.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I think I have the answers now, OH has been looking into it

The black clover type things have been pulled up (only a few here and there in the pot) and I will burn them this evening.
The jumping bugs are springtails apparently and are harmless as they only eat decaying bits and love damp soil and peat.
In any case I have emptied the pot and will discard the soil as like you say, those black clover thingies are the gist that keeps on giving....There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -

I've just spent another afternoon trying to dig them all up from my pots and beds. This is sympathy I'm offering

Oh what a pain-It's weird because there were just a few in isolation. I just hope what I've done is enough to get rid once and for all. I've got my hands full as it is what with the relentless dog's mecury. Grrrr
