yup
our house has been here for 10 years
when we came to look at it the sat nav took us to the old street
which is knocked down and is just parkland now
3 years later and just today i was in a taxi and his sat nav wanted to take him to the old street again

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear

They know their postcode is AB1 2CD (for example). If they gave out that postcode, you would get there no problem using satnav, google maps, royal mail etc.

However, they know their postcode is that one, but they give out another (eg AB1 2DC) - which is in a different place in town. So they 100% know the correct one, and they can't find anyone in the company to change it on their database. Searching on google, I can see other people have had the same problem over the last two years

The girl on reception (who was brill) admitted it, and said she spent most evenings apologising to frustrated guests.
