HELP- how do I print an ebay invoice to send with goods?

I listed nine items of my kids' second hand clothing on ebay - first time I have used ebay in well over a year. Eight of the items sold, netting me almost £90(!). Four of the buyers have paid already via paypal and I am trying to pack their stuff up to send in the morning.

I'm sure when I've bought stuff in the past it's come with a printed off invoice but I must be very stupid as I just can't work out how to do this. I've got copies of the invoices for a couple of the items in my yahoo inbox but I don't want to print these off. I didn't even get chance to send invoices for a couple of items the buyers paid so fast.

Surely there must be an option within my ebay to access a printable copy of the invoice to send to the buyer for info? Or due you normally dispatch items without?

Is it the paypal ones you want to print off?

If so, log into paypal and click on their name, you should now have an option to print a packing slip

  • Thanks so much. Have followed your advice and am now ready to post the stuff.
  • I don't send the invoice printout with the item either, I don't think its that important. I have had one request for this for which I did but other than that I like to keep things quick and simple.

I have my own printed 'thank you' letters that I send with each item, I never send an invoice.

The notes are brief, thank them for their purchase, using my ebay id and postal address and email, and that's about it.

  • Hmmm, might not send invoices in future. All the auctions ended last night. Seven out of eight buyers have paid and items have gone off to them. The final item was a dress. It was by a reasonably popular designer and had cost me £50 which was stated in the auction. The final sale price for the dress was just over £41. That buyer hasn't paid despite the fact that the bid was made at the end of the auction. Should I be panicking or would it be normal for a buyer to take longer than overnight to pay? The buyer had feedback of almost 300 and only two negs. I hope they haven't changed their mind about paying so close to retail for a second hand dress.

Buyer may be away/not looked at email - all sorts ofreasons. If auction only ended last night, no need to panic YET. Also bid could have been using snipe software - ie bidder is not necessarily around, just because bid came at end of auction.

the buyer can print out the invoice via paypal themselves as proof of purchase as its in their history.

Would it be too pushy to send another invoice out to her tonight? I'll be disappointed if the sale doesn't go through as I would like to use the cash to buy my dd a specific Oilily dress before it sell outs (and hopefully repeat the reselling at a profit next year).

What's a reasonable time to leave before chasing?
