Recommendations for pick-up/van insurance

I have just bought a pick up van, an old Vauxhall from the late 1990's. I am only using it for private use, nothing related to work or to earn money from. Anybody got any recommendations for where to look for insurance?

You could try Direct Line, CIS (Co Op), a local broker (Not Swintons) and NFU0

I'd only say to phone companies rather than trying online comparisons etc. You can say it's for private use etc. and they'll find the best deal (hopefully).Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!

I used Yes van insurance for my van.
I just ran through martins article

I cannot really recommend them as I didn't have to use them for a claim.
They setup my policy, took the money, sent me the docs and offered me a renewal. Other than that I had no dealings with them.
