Hi
I ordered an item from a large catalogue store via the internet for delivery on 2nd august.
The item was already on sale.
I now see, 6 days later that the item's price has been lowered again.
My card has already been debited.
Can I ask for the difference in price? or it is up to me to cancel and reorder at the cheaper price?
where do I stand if anywhere at all or is it just the luck of the draw?
cheers

You can ask, but they don't have to give. If not, just cancel and re-order (or send back and re-order again)If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Yeah, spot on. Worth a call, but they don't have to reduce the price; thus, you'd have to return under DSR and re-purchase at the new price. If you mention the inconvenience (to both of you) and your intention to do such, then they might come up trumps.0

Agree with the above.
Just waiting for the old chestnut "if it had gone up in price, would you pay the difference" to be trotted out.0 -
