Cheap but nice hotel near Shepherds Bush Empire?

For a Sunday night in October - needs to be very near if poss as I have mobility problems (so ground floor or a lift are also needed).

Also - ideas of somewhere nice for lunch would be gratefully received

I think you might be better off staying in nearby Hammersmith, as there is more accomodation around there and you can eaisly get the bus, tube or taxi from Shepherds Bush. Westfield's shopping centre is in Shepherds Bush and has a street at the end that has lots of restaurants to lunch. Lots of choice. http://uk.westfield.com/london/dining

You could try the premierinn at Hammersmith, it seems to be about £60 per room (checked the 10th Oct) and has disabled rooms.

if you have a look at his thread and use the friends and family link, then Hammersmith HIE comes up with breakfast for about £70 on some Sundays in Oct ,when I had a quick look. They also have disabled rooms it says.
