Laptop battery advice.

Options
Hi everyone.

I think the battery on my laptop has almost died. It's a Toshiba L40 Equium and never had a huge battery life but recently the machine shuts down after about 10 minutes use if it's not plugged in.

Does anyone have any advice as to the best place to get a replacement? I did have a quick google but there are so many and I would prefer to buy from a reputable company if anybody has any recommendations.

And also to make sure I'm ordering the right thing? I assume that there is a part number on the existing battery - haven't looked yet!

Thanks in advance.

There is a part number on the battery. There are loads of places to choose from but TBH, a cheapy from Ebay would probably suffice.
