Overpaid or underpaid?
I have an imperial Gas meter but have been charged in metric since moving into my house.
A BG inspector spotted the mistake, told me I was being overcharged and suggested I contacted BG for a refund. He said people all over the UK are making the claim.
I spoke to BG and another inspector came over and confirmed the billing was incorrect. After calling BG again, they explained that I was underpaying!
Of course, after so much effort I was surprised and angry that I would need to pay extra.
Since then however, other people have told me I am overpaying and for the time being my bills are still in metric.
So, I am underpaying or overpaying?

Underpaying I am afraid!
A gas unit on an Imperial meter is approx 31.5kWh; a gas unit on a Metric meter is approx 11.2 kWh
So for every gas unit used you are getting 31.5kWh and only being charged for 11.2kWh.0
