Life Insurance with M.E

Apologies, i didnt know whether to post this in the insurance bit or the disablity bit but figured more people with M.E would look here
Basically my problem is I have applied to Aviva for Life Insurance and they have turned me down due to my M.E which they will not review for at least a year.
I have rang and asked the basis for their decision as my sister also has M.E and she got accepted for hers (she was diagnosed years ago, I was diagnosed in january)
THey have said that the reason for their dscision is that some people with M.E go on to have further problems and they need to 'monitor' me for a year to see what happens and then may affer me insurance.
So my question for my fellow sufferers is, which companies are more likely to insure an M.E sufferer as I dont want 20 odd applications for insurance on my credit file so i start getting turned down just from that!!

I don't have ME I have Ms, but I do know the MS Society does a life assurance policy through Heath Lambert, so that company must insure people with medical conditions, so it would be worth looking intoLindsayO
