I have been waiting for a while for the advance 13.50 tickets from Darlington to london to become available.
It has a note on east coasts website stating that 2nd 3rd Sat sun are excluded.
Does anyone have any idea why they have started excluding weekends all of a suddedn.
I could book all previous weekends at the cheap rate.
Is there something Big happening in london that weekend?

It could well be that they have still not worked out the line engineering for those days.
I travel quite often to London on Sundays but only if I can get the real cheapies. When the window opens for advance travel, sometimes Sundays are not included but they usually appear a few days later."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"

Hi Terry above is correct,
Although train companies try to sell advance fares from 12 weeks in advance, sometimes this isn't possible because of engineering work resulting in train companys not knowing the full timetable for the weekend yet so unable to sell the tickets.
Just keep watching:o"No likey no need to hit thanks button!":pHowever its always nice to be thanked if you feel mine and other people's posts here offer great advice:D So hit the button if you likey:rotfl:0
