Itunes issue after laptop was repaired.

Hi one and all. When it comes to phones i'm pretty good but itunes and iPods get me in all sorts of trouble!
My GF's iTunes was removed from laptop due to a repair and her library was not backed up. Is there a free way of getting all the songs from her ipod to the laptop so she can put them back in the itunes library?
