Seller Failing to complete

I have found loads on-line about buyers who fail to complete, but can find very little when a seller fails. Anyone had any experience of this? Have pulled out & found another house to buy as previous vendor just not willing to sort out problems, solicitors say can claim compensation but what if vendor has no money what can I do???

Help123, you post is unclear - you say you've pulled out of the sale, not the vendor. Have you exchanged contracts with this vendor? If it's a case of the you 'pulling out' as a result of the vendor being unwilling/unable to complete following contract exchange, there was thread lasy year from a forum member called Welshwoofs in the same circumstances.

If you have exchanged and the vendor has failed to complete then there are remedys. Firstly your solicitor should issue a notice to complete to them giving them 10 days to get it sorted before further penalties are incurred. Your solicitor can advise you on the procedure of this.

If you haven't exchanged there is nothing at all you can do.
