Hi. I currently own a property that was placed under a redevelopment program by the council 4 years ago. As my property was in the second phase of the program it was due to be purchased by the council in april 2010. However when april came nothing happened and when i spoke to the council i was told that funds had dried up and that they were now going to scrap phase 2 of the program for the forseeable future resulting in the devaluing of my property and leaving me in a position where im un able to sell/rent my property, or even remove my ex wifes name from the mortgage. would i have a case for compensation ? your help would be much appreciated
