I don't mind ironing. I am happy if just left in front of some trashy telly and the ironing board. whiles away a few hours.

    Lewis lane sounds nice.

    1 Lewis Lane :D, I like it.

Just off of to pick some fresh strawberries from my beautiful kitchen garden......... amazing how there are no weeds or bugs in Lewis Lane and it only rains at night ;)

Hi - can I move in. I'd start up local trading enterprise vouchers for the people on our street so the money savers can exchange goods and services.
Skills like ironing, cleaning, babysitting, cooking and childminding could be exchanged for decorating, gardening, computer and car maintenance etc
    One life.

Thankyou! :( How did you get out of it? (the trouble with our NBH is that they are old and think they own the place and can do what they like to other people's property:mad:)

Can we have nice gardens - I've always wanted a big veg patch and a rose garden :) - do we have a vegetable expert as my current runner beans are looking a bit patchy!

OUR NFH were renting next door, we had to keep a daily diary of all the problems, very tedious but eventually worked, although the eldest boy threatening to murder me in own garden was not the best expereince I have ever had:mad:. They knew all the rules and how to bend them, knew how to get out of going to court etc....it took months and months and many many sleepless nights, we felt like we were stuck as there was no way anyone would have bought out house (or any other house on the street for that matter). I can truely say it was the worst time in my life and made me very ill. However if you can get the police on side you are half way there, report everything, even if they own their home eventually they will be forced to move. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please can I move into number 16? :) If I actually live here I might visit more!! :rotfl:When I'm not AWOL I can offer free counselling to all and as much home cooked veggie food as you can eat! I can also provide first aid and some level of protection as I am trained in physical intervention!! :rotfl: I also come with the Lovely Boy who is very experienced at refurbishing homes (including fitting kitchens) and is good with cars. AND (!) I come with the friendliest little border terrier you could ever meet that will roll onto his back for a belly rub for everyone and will lick your face until satisfied that you love him too!

Pammy - don't be a stranger at your end of the street, you are not the only one who hates ironing. In fact Mr MOOC who is disabled and stays at home does the ironing so maybe he can move into 2 Lewis Lane with me and do the ironing. He also does the cooking whilst I am the one who goes out to work. Still want my sea view tho :D

I also like bingo but have not been for years

Don't take it personally Pammy, she's made sure I'm stuck at the other end :rotfl:. Anyway, we have the biggest gardens as we have the end plots :)

Don't feel sad Pammy. I am absolutely sure TPA wouldn't mean it like that. I hope we aren't making anyone feel left out or owt by being silly. This is one of the friendlier least cliquey boards i feel so wouldn't want to put anyone out.

Did you not think she made someday soon out to be a bit of a lush too living nextdoor to the booze? Or is that just me.
