how to create a link?

how can i create a link in my signature, do i just type it in and it's automatic or not?

i've checked in the rules and it says its ok, as it's for a registered charity as i thought i could use it in my signature to raise awareness of it a bit. but don't know anything about that kind of techie stuff!!

can anyone advise? thanks in advance.

dont want to do the wrong thing - do i have to ask permission from someone, if so, who and where?
