    Just looking at the sentencing guidelines, for 77 in a 50, the magistrates will be looking at a Band B fine, plus disqualification of 7 - 56 days or (if no disqualification) 6 penalty points endorsed.

    If they're considering disqualification then they will in all likelihood write to your OH to ask him to attend. So they'll either conclude the sentencing in his absence and no disqualification, or adjourn the hearing for him to attend before a final decision re disqualification is made.
