I have to agree with everyone else if you wait till you can afford children it will never happen.
If you feel the time is right for you then go ahead and enjoy the pregancy and the baby. If you do not go mad spending then you will manage as most people do.
Good luck and best wishes.£2 saver club, over £200 now:

Agree with everyone that says there is never a right time financially, if you both feel ready then go for it, babies are cheap as chips, it's just when they get older that they become expensive, I'm a mother of an 11 year old growing [STRIKE]monster[/STRIKE] boy so I'm speaking from experience!!:rotfl:
Good luck!Kate

If you have money in savings and some debt, why not use the savings to pay off the debt?? You're paying MUCH more interest (probably over ten times as much) on the debt as you are making on the savings, so you're actually losing money! Use those savings to pay off the debt!No longer visiting these forums.0

The money in husbands savings isn't a huge amount and will only pay off a small part of the debt - the thing is, he wants to have a little put over in case something awful happens to his car (MOT due) or the boiler explodes or something. We would rather use that money then take out more debt...we (well me really) are trying to re-educate ourselves about our spending and using credit. A bit chicken and the egg though...0
