Company CC on a DMP?

Hi All,
Been a while since I've posted anything as the DMP I've been on has been going well for the last 8 months.
However a slight problem has come up in the form of business travel costs. To meet business needs I'm now required to travel a bit. The company I work for expect me to put these cost on my own credit card and then claim them back on expenses.
I've told them that I don't have a credit card and am unlikely to for some time. We decided to go down the route of getting me a company credit card, however I noticed that in the terms and conditions a credit check will logged with the credit reference agencies.
I'm worried that if I'm rejected for a company CC then it could affect my career as I will be unable to meet flight and hotel costs myself.
Anyone been in a similar situation? The scheme is a joint & several liability cardmemeber agreement

Hi MisterRon
What was the outcome of this?
I've been on a DMP for ages, but am applying for a work Amex (needed for travelling) and have no idea whether it will get turned down. I've read the T&C's and I think the liability remains with my, but it's more that my company are verifying me if that makes sense?
I also don't know if my other creditors will know about it and how they / the CCCS would regard it?
But I can't really manage to keep funding travel out of my wages and waiting for expenses (the cost of the travel is increasing)
