Roses
Have had so much fun at my first attempt at gardening
I am now thinking about next year, what I would like to try and what's going to go where.
I love roses, and have selected a nice spot where I would like to plant 2/3 plus a climber come when the time comes for them to go in.
I have come across loads of specialist rose sites some very expensive some seemingly reasonable.
Can anyone recommend a site they have used and been very pleased with?
Thanks as always

There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

I think roses can be quite hard work sometimes but very rewarding. I have never used an internet site to buy a rose. I would recommend going to a specialist rose grower because you can get to see the actual colour of the rose you are buying and gain expert advise about pruning, diseases etc. I went to a local specialist because I wanted a thornless climber to go around my arch. Good luck anyway.

It really is worth going around and seeing the roses in real life. It's not the same choosing from pictures.
For the climber, Zephirine Drouhin is a lovely rose - good colour, scented and thornless.0 -
You may be too late to see the Mottisfont Abbey roses [I note OP is London]
But the display is and scents are wonderful, also have some for sale, but not cheap

As you are London, why not go to RHS Wisley for a great day out and check their's out, or perhaps Kew Gardens?Numerus non sum0
