Which is better: Turkey or Spain?

Mrs MbW and I are planning on going somewhere nice next May for a 2-week summer break with a beach. We're thinking of Spain or Turkey, but which would MSErs recommend as being better?

I was thinking of Costa Dorada in Spain, but I don't know very much about Turkey.

    Agree we need more information.

It's like asking whats better chocolate or crisps without telling us whether you've got a sweet or savoury tooth.

I would say Spain, but I just love Spain so I'm probably biased.

I voted Spain. Have been to Turkey once and am off again shortly, but, although have never been to mainland Spain I am totally smitten with the Balerics especially Mallorca!
  • I live in Spain so am biased - if I thought Turkey would be better would live there :D

    I've been to both!

Both have nice beaches and nice resorts if you pick wisely ;)

Turkey would just win as I love the culture. It's so different from the UK, with things like the mosque sounding out the call to prayer, and smelling the exotic spices for sale in shops.
Here I go again on my own....
