erm i asked for help apples not abuse, iam aware i went to the bank for help n advice, and did i spend that money on rubbish, no i didnt so dont presume and dont have a go at me when I kno that I am responsible but THEY lent it irresponsibly with like i say no risk assessment and no valuation of my property. So I gues WE are both to blame for being irresponsible, like u have never made a mistake right!

with a secured loan they take very little risk, its not their fault the property is unsellabe.I suspect you knew everything you know now back in 2007,so come on dont blame barclays, grow up and accept responsibilty.

Iam aware i made some fianacial mistakes but surely they cant just give you a loan without checking the equity in your property first?

Did you actually query the fact that they didn't check you equity at the time, no of course you didnt you just took 25,000 pounds and was over the moon about it.

Was the financial advisor holding a gun to your head when you signed? I suspect not.

This thread really gets quite tedious with people who have borrowed money from banks trying to act as if they are victims.

They will have the information from you. So if you've lied, you could be in big trouble.

You CHOSE to take the loan. It is your fault, and your fault alone why your flat is unsellable. Take the responsibility and stop acting like a baby.
