Secured Loan Nightmare!
Comments

erm i asked for help apples not abuse, iam aware i went to the bank for help n advice, and did i spend that money on rubbish, no i didnt so dont presume and dont have a go at me when I kno that I am responsible but THEY lent it irresponsibly with like i say no risk assessment and no valuation of my property. So I gues WE are both to blame for being irresponsible, like u have never made a mistake right!
with a secured loan they take very little risk, its not their fault the property is unsellabe.I suspect you knew everything you know now back in 2007,so come on dont blame barclays, grow up and accept responsibilty.0 -
Iam aware i made some fianacial mistakes but surely they cant just give you a loan without checking the equity in your property first?0

I didnt kno wot i kno now in 2007 the advisor was very brief, how many times do i have to say i accept wot i have done and yes iam paying the consequences, i only asked for some advice, i guess u all have the right to slate me since u are all perfect and hav never made any mistakes!0

Did you actually query the fact that they didn't check you equity at the time, no of course you didnt you just took 25,000 pounds and was over the moon about it.
Was the financial advisor holding a gun to your head when you signed? I suspect not.
This thread really gets quite tedious with people who have borrowed money from banks trying to act as if they are victims.0 -

Oh my lord!!!
"They all MADE me spend over £25,000 on rubbish"
"They MADE me take the loan"
Did it not occur to you for a SINGLE SECOND that it was YOU who went into that bank and ASKED THEM for the money???
Christ on a bike!!!!!
