Pls help me decode this mesaage!

I hope this is in the right place.

I'm trying to register for a site and keep getting the message:

Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.User' with unique index 'IX_User_CommunityServerId'. The statement has been terminated.

I've been over the form time and again and I've no idea what it refers to. Any clues please? It's a very simple from (for ITV.com if that helps).

I'd suggest waiting a while and starting again from scratch.

I've tried a couple of time over a week or so - maybe wait till I've had my hols.

It sounds like you may be trying to register a username that's already taken but for some reason the site isn't explaining that in plain English?

That's a possibility - the one I tried probably needs some tweaking. Will give it a try, thanks.

It seems to be a script error, possibly due to a corrupt file in your browser's cache. If registering with a different username doesn't help, it might be worth clicking the browser window then hitting CTRL+F5 to reload the page.

It was the user name! I made it more complicated and it went through first time.
