Travelling and informing banks and CC Companies

I strongly suggest that anyone with NatWest cards tell their bank or the NatWest security centre before going abroad unlike the stated 'not necessary' status on the main page.
I speak as one who has had to make several expensive mobile phone calls in the past to get the block removed.

The same also goes for Barclaycard who now have a useful place on their site where you can enter the details of your planned trip. (assuming that you have online access to your account).

    Have always done that with Nat West, they seem to take no notice whatsoever and keep blocking our cards abroad - total waste of time.
