Ltd Company Help

Options
Hi,
I would like to register a limited company, but i wont be trading under the name for about 2/3 years. Would i be able to set one up? The reason i ask is i have thought of a good name and dont want anyone else to register it. Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question

Thanks:D

Yes you can, you declare the company as not trading, think that will cost you about £50 per year.
    Kind Regards

You form your company which costs about £50 from the typical specialist formation agent.

Then each year you have to submit dormant company accounts - nothing more than an A4 page with your signature on it (pro forma on Companies House website) and also submit the company annual return with a £15 annual filing fee.

So initial cost say £50 then £15 p.a. whilst it is dormant.

These guys will do it for £23.49; I've used them and they're fine.
