    You could well get a guaranteed commission for the first 3 months to allow for the fact that you won't have any completions to be paid out, but tbh unless you're very lucky you will probably struggle to earn near what you do at the moment, never mind match or better it. I think it's about 5% of the agency fee you get paid personally - for example sell @ 200k, 1% fee for agency is 2k, with 5% of that payable to you - so £100 in total. Obviously if it's a higher fee the better but you're better not putting all your eggs in one basket and banking on a few hundred from just one sale - devote all your effort to that and it falls through, and you're stuffed!

    You may get token payments for booking mortgage appointments & solicitors referrals if they do have in-house people for you to refer to, but even those could be paid after you reach a set amount i.e. 8 a month for the mortgage referrals before payment of £10 each kicks in. What do you do at the moment if you don't mind me asking? If it's a remotely decent job I'd say don't leave that for this as at least financially you will regret it.
