Quick question re refunds

Hi there,

I bought a poster from ebay last week described as 'as new, in very good condition'.

However, as the poster was an irregular size (70x70cm), it has been sent in 2 mailing tubes that have been selotaped together. In transit it has been bent where the join was, so now there are huge creases running through the middle of the poster.

I have contacted the buyer for a refund, asking for refund of final item price, postage and my return postage costs. However, the seller has said he will only refund the final item price.

Is this correct seeing as I am returning it through no fault of my own?
