Trying to connect laptop to tv. Will this work?

Options
Hi

I am trying to connect my laptop to my LCD tv, to use it as an external monitor.

The ports available on my laptop are VGA (15 pin) and several USB's

The ports available on my tv are SCART, HDMI, Red Yellow White (I think this is RCA) Also a YPbPr.

I am thinking of this cable http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-8M-VGA-15-Pins-3-RCA-Cable-HDTV-PC-LCD-LAPTOP-/270459394183?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Computing_CablesConnectors_RL&hash=item3ef8a2d887

Ive heard of Scart to VGA, but cant find a VGA to Scart
I know the standard way is VGA to VGA but my tv does not have one

Please help
and thoughtts please
