Hi
I am trying to connect my laptop to my LCD tv, to use it as an external monitor.
The ports available on my laptop are VGA (15 pin) and several USB's
The ports available on my tv are SCART, HDMI, Red Yellow White (I think this is RCA) Also a YPbPr.
I am thinking of this cable http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-8M-VGA-15-Pins-3-RCA-Cable-HDTV-PC-LCD-LAPTOP-/270459394183?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Computing_CablesConnectors_RL&hash=item3ef8a2d887
Ive heard of Scart to VGA, but cant find a VGA to Scart
I know the standard way is VGA to VGA but my tv does not have one
Please help
and thoughtts please

It's the YPbPr which is component video not the Red Yellow and White. Yellow is composite video and the other two are right/left audio which will also need connecting up.
The real question though is does your video card support TV out as the eBay ad says it must.0 -
ive connected my laptop to another tv by VGA to VGA, so does that mean it is supported.
Is there a way of finding out?
