Has anyone had trouble registering for this? I managed a few days ago and submitted my entry, but I have just spoken to my Mum to get her to register and vote, and for some reason it won't let her register. It keeps asking for her to provide more information, then takes her back to the first page where there are only a few boxes and not the ones it seems to want.

Q1. When does the Contest run and can anyone enter?
A1. The Contest starts on July 15, 2010 at 1:01 am British Summer Time (“BST”) and ends on September 3, 2010 at 12:59:59 am BST (“Contest Period”). It's open to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are at least 18 at the date of first entering the Contest.

If I'm reading it right, the only thing you can do now is vote for other peoples' stories. Too late to add your own :-(

I can't seem to register for this. I put my username, password, security question and it just tells me I need to put further information in, but I can't see where?

I've had to remove a few posts as the only place on MSE you can ask people to vote for you in a comp etc is THIS THREAD in the referrers board

I had the email but on following its link I can't find my story, or see where to log in. The email competition sent is a do not reply and there is no home page or contact us! Does anyone know how to get into the thing - how can anyone vote?

The winners are on the site now. I can't recognise any of the entries from all the people we were voting for - interesting! All the winners seem quite similar to me (sour grapes?!) ;-)
