Can anyone reccomend a nice buffet/karaoke bar in Manchester's chinatown? I am looking for somewhere on a sturday night in september where its quite relaxed, good choice of food (I don't eat pork and would like some veggie options available for my companions) looking for a MAXIMUM of £20/ head. tehre should be at least ten of us but could be as many as 20 or perhap even more??? (unlikely as i am not THAT popular.. lol)
The buffet and karaoke don't HAVE to be together but it would be nice if they were at least walking distance from each other.
I don't live anywhere near manchester but for ease of reference, if you have landmarks to help me locate places, it might be helpful. thanks in advance.

Peking Court on princess street for the best chinese buffet IMO. Facing the gay village, short walf from oxford road train station.
chinese karioke in Orchard Lounge karioke bar on Portland Street, 1 minute walk from Peking Court - great fun!0 -
ITs not in the City centre but Vermillion opposite City stadium is fab. Good food downstairs then excellent entertainment in the lounge bar upstairs afterwards. Oh n you will be sure to see a few celebs as it is "the hangout"0

I second that. I went to the Peking COurt for the first time on Saturday, and had to go again on Sunday because it was so good!******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -
thanks peeps.
i will book in for peking court. i had looked at that and loved the sound of it. glad to have some reccommendations.
is orchid lounge above siam orchid? I think that was the one i looked at too.
I appreciate the other suggestions. just to explain, this is for my hen night and a few of the peopel coming are spending a lot of money to celebrate my hen night with me. many are pregnant hence teh close proximity request to spare expense of cabs etc. i will def note those for future visits though and appreciate all the responses.Proud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0
