Completing this week but house still being built.

Im due to complete this week on a new build (as originally we were due to move in at the end of the month but completion on the property was put back a couple of weeks recently) but the property is still being built and is still a couple of weeks away from being completed. Does this cause any problems or is it a case of me just having to complete and pay the mortgage on a house i can't move into for a couple more weeks?

your solicitor will advise you - but i would instruct him NOT to complete until the property has been completed and all snaggings have been identified and addressed..... you dont have to complete on the day specified earlier...
strictly speaking once you have completed you have accepted the property in its current state...
in any case i cannot see that ANY lender would agree to release funds on a property that is not ready to occupy... it is up to YOU to keep your solicitor informed at every stage.. as he wont know if it is finished or not.. presumably you can drive round and look....0
