Help! Just broken my house on zoopla :-(

Help! Was just being nosy and checking the estimated value of my house on zoopla. Was quite happy with the estimate, but thought if I provinded more details it would help set the value. Instead it's brought the value down, so now it looks like my house (large 4 bed detached) is worth less than the 3 bed semi next door
I've changed all the details back, but it hasn't changed the price estimate
How do I correct this mess?

[edit] oh right, you really can change the figures. Sorry. Erm... try refining the estimate?0 -
You can change the figures?

I can confirm you are correct - just knocked 30k off the value of my home by confirming the details they already had...
...also can't see how to get it to revert to the original price

Aberdeen doesn't need my help.

Tried putting it back to no details but it hasn't changed the price

Just add a pool and some stables. It'll be alright.0

Why, you trotted round them all already!?
Good point though really, if people can manually edit data, it's pretty much worthless as an accurate tool.
I assume the OP's mistake has now had an effect on the average in that area.0 -
Trouble is, the house opposite is up for sale. If people look at values they'll think that house is worth less because mine (biggest house in the street) is down for less than theirs

I just added a tennis court and a heli-pad to mine and the price still went down.

Does anyone actually take any serious notice of Zoopla though....at best it gives a very very rough guidance, at worse, it is completely and utterly wrong and bears no relation to reality. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
