Should have gone to Everest! :p

Put a copy of the Daily Express in the living room and give it some flock wallpaper. That should do the trick! :)

I allowed for a Juliette balcony and we do have gigantic windows (being in an Ugly House built circa 1968....but sooooo easy to live in :o) but tonight I will add some luxe features....and leave the valuation sitting there.:D

Actually, it's a very good tool...what was it? An algorythm.....to see what adds ''value'' and what doesn't. I will add a loft conversion too....even though in our house you would have to take the entire roof off + rebuild it to do one.

My house is worth more than the others in the street, because it is mine and I know it is and anyone that says otherwise is obviously wrong.

None of my neighbours places come up.....there are 4 plus a vicarage (which makes my St sound very Joanna Trollope
....which it so isn't :D)....I am wondrering how I edit their places....guessing another e-mail and a login?

I might add every improvement later on....will report back.

I didn't lie about anything, and it told me this place was worth £175k more than we paid last year. :D

Mind you, no algorhythm could possibly know how naff the conservatory, the utility and two of the bathrooms are, but they're there and being counted.

Frankly, I reckon I might get £35k more than last year's price, but only because it doesn't now smell of dog and random other animals.

Anyway, as LIR is not around, I could probably sell it to someone horsey, as they don't usually give a stuff about decor.:rotfl:

I am missing LIR badly......DD is pestering me to go down her way so maybe soon. You know how it is being S/E? If you leave it for a second it feels like it's all going to run away from you.....quite irrational...but feels real.

I think you should add on lot's of improvements and try for a 250k uplift :D

I will see how much I can raise mine to later. I am guessing adding 1000 sq ft expension might get the prize for highest Zoopla uplift.

I think I might have some fun decreasing the value of our landlord's properties...
