How do I contact ebay over "Private" feedback listing?

I have just bought something on ebay for around £28, and after I bought it the seller managed to get himself 11 negatives this month and has gone private!
I am now wittling about the sale, any ideas what I should do?
He definitely won't let me back out of the sale.

You don't need to contact ebay at all. If the seller is that bad then just don't pay up, the worse that can happen is that the seller does an NPB on you and leaves you a neg, and surely that is better than losing money?

If he is an out and out scammer then realistically he is unlikely to chase you anyway, he will be looking to get in whatever funds he can before ebay ban him.

  • I agree, let him do all the running for his cash. By the sounds of it he will be banned soon, its better to do it this way, rather then send him the money only for him to become unregistered the next day and you don't get anything. Even PayPal sometimes doesn't cover you, if you were to request a refund through them and he doesn't have the funds in his account you will receive nothing back! Shocking isn't it?!?!
