    drat and double drat:eek:
  • Looks like the Daily Mail 'dream cottage' is situated in a village in Suffolk called Elmswell:

    h ttp://win-house.co.uk/blog/competitions-in-the-news/351-daily-mail-dream-cottage-where-is-it-located.html

Actually according to some of these comments it backs up on railway lines and an industrial estate at the back!

Idyllic? I don't know the area but that doesn't sound great to me...

But hey, it's a free comp so can't complain!

Apparently the address is 7 Hawk End Lane, Elmswell, Suffolk.
The area doesn't look great, but if anyone wins it you could always sell it :)

I must say there are definately nicer parts of Suffolk to live in but it's still a pretty good prize! And, as you say, you can always sell it....unless there's something in the ts&cs that says otherwise?!

Of course, if a MSEr does win it he/she will have to invite all of us for one heck of a house warming party :rotfl:

    GL all :D

I took a look at the T&Cs and can't see anything like that in the small print.

Thing is, it's likely to be pretty hard to sell at that price based on what people say...

Just need to have enough spare cash to keep it in good condition until you get a decent offer if you win!

Hang about... why is it still up for sale? Have to admit it would be pretty near perfect for me.
I've even got the box hedge ready for the front garden (left of picture).
