In praise of NPower

Just received a bill for the last 6 months (January to July), having both gas and electricity with Npower but switching halfway through to a cheaper tariff - from Sol 14 to Sol 18.

NPower underestimated my use to April therefore the majority of charges were from April to July, on the cheaper tariff.

Where I expected to be in credit by about £60, this has now gone up to £134. Every penny counts in my opinion!

Not only that, they are automatically giving me a £94.27 refund and reducing my monthly payment from £100 to £85, although I may keep it at £100.

Thanks NPower!

Praise where praise is due, though I'm not sure why it is here to be honest. As it reads to me they billed you after 6 months not the quarter, you say got the estimate wrong & surely all they are now doing is giving you back some of your own money having earned (admittedly a pittance) the interest on it instead of you doing so in the meantime. What is there to praise or thank them for really
