Please help: Capital One Balance Transfer

I have a Capital One Classic Card and I know they had a 0% balance transfer offer in December 2004. I arranged a transfer of £500.00 and I am now being charged interest.
Upon querying they tell me that the offer ended on 14/12/04 which I don't think is right as I received the literature in post around that date - from what I remember the offer was valid until sometime in January 2005.
I didn't keep the literature, but if someone still has access to that literature, can it be passed on to me please. Or any relevant details will be helpful.
