Automatic upgrade from Student to Graduate account with RBS

Hi everyone,
Been a while since I've been round these parts - weird how little time you have when you work!
Anyway, last year I was contacted by RBS to say mmy account was to be upgraded to a graduate account as I had reached the conclusion of my account. As I still hasn't submitted, I had my account extended into a 4th year.
This year, I haven't had a letter saying my account is being upgraded. Has anyone else received any information on this? I'm just wondering if I may have slipped through the net and I'll always be considered a student...!

6th August and it still hasn't changed... I don't mind having another year of interest free overdraft saving but has anyone else been switched?
edit: who would have thought someone with a doctorate would write as badly as I did in my original post lol0 -
The name of the account won't change first off. If you have just graduated you will have an additional year of up to £2000 interest free. This reduces to £1000 1 year after graduation, so your facilities are not going to change at the moment.Best Regards

True but in account details on online banking, the account is showing as student. Last year, it changed to graduate. I know there's a £2000 overdraft available reducing to £1500 then £1000 in later years, but sort of wondered why I hadn't been notified of the fact.
I just don't trust they changed my account correctly in branch. I wonder when they said the end date of my course was officially!

Hmmm. If you contact the branch, I would see what your graduation date is as it is recorded on the system. if it is wrong, it is just a case of getting it amended.Best Regards

RBS had my graduate date wrong on their system and had me graduating a year early for some reason, obviously just some typing error when someone entered the details onto the system when i opened it. I had to take in my graduation certificate to prove when i actually did complete my course. Despite their system being updated with the correct information i then started getting interest charged on my overdraft as if i'd graduated on the date the incorrectly had, when i spotted this i called the branch and they refunded the charges, and i was told the system was updated so it shouldn't happen again, lo and behold the following month it did happen again. I went into the branch last weekend to get it sorted out the lady in the branch said it was showing the correct information on the system but was still charging me interest incorrectly. and was called back the following day after someone had refunded charges again. Now my interest free bit reduces to £1000 so from now on i should only be charged interest on the balance between that and my limit, however i'm fully expecting a statement next month showing interest charged based on me no longer having an interest free overdraft. One thing must be said though, they have refunded the charges pretty quickly with minimum fuss when i've pointed out the errors.
Along the same lines as the OP, when does a graduate account mature into a normal current account? Does it ever change or does it stay a graduate account forever? Does it change when there is no longer an interest free overdraft? If it does change, does the overdraft limit on the account still apply?0
