Brazilian Day London 2010
Brazilian Day is a free entry festival which celebrates the vast diversity of Brazilian culture via a huge outdoor party including live music from some of Brazil's most successful artists, celebrities and sports stars, traditional dances, great food and much more.
Brazilian day was started 25 years ago in New York where it now attracts 1.5 million people to 5th Avenue every year! As a result of the huge success in New York, Brazilian Day has become an international event which is currently being held in New York, London, Tokyo, Toronto and Angola with the additions of Lisbon and Miami in 2010.
Brazilian Day London was first staged in 2009. It was a phenomenal success with over 30,000 people attending. Hosted by the internationally recognized TV Globo presenter, Serginho Groisman, the festival included performances from international superstars such as Leonardo, Carla Visi and Marco Andre as well as an array of local Brazilian musicians and the London School of Samba.
On Saturday 31st July 2010, from the hours of 10.00 to 21.00 London will host the Largest Brazilian Event in Europe, a Free Entry Festival called Brazilian Day in London. Hosted at The O2, Meridian Gardens with Folkloric and regional shows presented at The O2, Peninsular Square. The festival will celebrate, and promote genuine Brazilian culture through: music, dance, food, drink and tourism.

This year Brazilian Day will be even bigger and better than last year's success. The music will appeal to a wide international audience with irresistible rhythms and beats drawing people together. Well known artists will be flown in from Brazil, including 'Fundo de Quintal' and 'Cesar Menotti e Fabiano'. They will be performing along with Brazilian artists that reside in the UK and will be showcasing the enormous diversity of Brazilian music with styles such as Forro, Samba, Pagode and MPB (Brazilian Pop). Serginho Groisman will once again be leading the way as the main presenter of Brazilian Day London 2010 which we are very happy to announce will be held in the Meridian Gardens and Peninsular Square at The O2, London.

Brazilian Day London is a Carbon Free festival! To compensate for the carbon emissions caused during the festival we will plant 10000 trees in the Amazon! Read more here...
