There's a good idea. Pay £200 less for a car and spend over £200 getting up there and getting it back.
Only on old bangers, a £10000 car will be, perhaps £1000 cheaper in Scotland.

buy cheap old vans and flog them down south.

my mate sold an old ducato van with a knackered gearbox to guy from london, the van was worthless, but this guy travelled to pick it he, he had been trying to get a van under a grand around london and couldn't,so it worked out cheaper for him to travel.

I want to start off with one car and use it to get around while im at uni. I have parking for one car outide my house. So neighbours wont be a problem offer them discount on a service or something....mobile mechanic maybe.

I dont expect to make massive amout of money £100-200 would be fine I just want to make some money to pay bills and find a property and fit it out. Unless a p/t job turns up somewere.
